Obituary for the late Patricia Mesure Hartman

“ Pat” as family and friends affectionately called her was born on July 31, 1951. She was born in Philadelphia, PA.

She was born to World War II Navy veteran, Robert “Bud” Mesure and  Catherine Conlon Mesure.

Patricia was born and raised in the Kensington section of Philadelphia.  She attended Mastbaum High School.  Upon graduation, she attended Temple University and received a bachelor's in mathematics.

Married to Charles J. Hartman, Patricia was the mother of three sons, Charlie Robert Hartman, Joseph William Hartman, and Thomas F Hartman. 

Known as ‘’Ms. Pat” by many children in the northeast for working at Over the Rainbow Daycare Center from 1993 to 2014.

Patricia was an advocate of autism awareness, whose resiliency paid off in a time when the diagnosis was not well understood, and helped many women who also had children suffering from autism, get help and better benefits for these children.

Patricia was respected in the community as a mentor to many people struggling and always had a handout for those who needed it
 
Patricia was married to Charles  J Hartman and had three sons Charlie  R. Hartman, Joseph William Hartman, and Tommy F Hartman. Mother-in-law to Bridget M Hartman and Grandmother to the handsome Charles Rocky Hartman born Jan 2, 2021

Family and friends are invited to  Public Viewing on Friday, November 17, 2023, at 9:00 AM followed by Funeral Service at 10:00 AM, located at Aldworth Funeral Home located at 4117 Decatur Street, Philadelphia, PA 19136.
Rev. Fr. Stephen Katziner, St. Ephrem Church will be officiating.
