ANNE FRANCES SHEA

ANNE FRANCES SHEA, 86
of Holmesburg section of Philadelphia, Pa, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital. Anne was born July 28th, 1934. She was a loving sister to her brother Mike Shea, sister Peg Rybas and predeceased by sister Eleanor Langan. She was a devoted aunt to 13 nieces and nephews, 20 great nieces and nephews and 5 great great nephews. She graduated from Camden Catholic High School in 1952. Anne attended Moore College of Art for one year. She worked for AT&T for many years. She was employed by the IRS and the Department of Defense for over 30 years and received numerous awards, recommendations and commendations. Anne was an artist, a photographer, a seamstress, and she also loved crocheting. She loved travelling to Jamaica, Ireland, Hawaii, California, Florida, and spent time on the beaches of New Jersey every summer. Anne enjoyed spending time with family on every holiday and also attended sports contests, plays, and ceremonies on behalf of family members spanning three generations. Anne was a devout catholic who attended St. Cecilia's Parish as well as St. Dominic's Parish.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Dominic's Church, 8504 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, Pa 19136 on Tuesday December 1, with a viewing at 9:00 am and a funeral mass at 10:00 am with Reverend Edward C. Kearns officiating.
Internment at Holy Cross Cemetary, Yeadon, Pa.
