Joseph M. Jansen, Jr, 72
of Leesburg, Florida, passed away peacefully at his home with his wife by his side on Thursday, February 25, 2021.

Joe was born September 7, 1948. Son of the late Joseph Jansen, Sr and Dolores (Kirby) Jansen of Philadelphia, PA. He was a very loving and devoted husband and father. Joe is survived by his wife Susan (nee Piergross), daughters Julie Miller and Jeanette Andersen (Eric), step-sons Frank Boyle (Haley) and Brian Boyle, sister Joan Schiavo (William) and 7 grandchildren.

Joe graduated from Father Judge High School and Spring Garden College in Philadelphia. He worked for a Public Service Electric and Gas Company located in New Jersey for 34 years before his retirement. He traveled the world and loved cruising & sailing.

Family and friends are invited to the viewing which will be held Saturday March 6th, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Saint Dominic Church in Philadelphia, PA. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM with Rev. Edward C. Kearns officiating.

Interment at Resurrection Cemetery Bensalem, PA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in his memory.
