Obituary for the late Lisa Linette Benjamin
Lisa Linette Benjamin, age 52 of the Passyunk section of South Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday September 20, 2023.
Lisa was born March 06, 1971, to Deborah Dunlap and the late Lester Miller. Lisa attended and graduated from Phoenixville High School in Phoenixville, PA. Lisa furthered her education by receiving her Associates Degree in Computer Network Administration and later received a certificate for Certified Medical Assistant.
Lisa served her country as a Specialist (E4) in the United States Army for 6 years and was honorably discharged. She worked for Girard Internal Medicine for 7 years, as a Certified Medical Assistant and later employed by Abington Hospital.
Lisa was passionate about her family. She loved spending time with her children Antonio and Kaitlyn. She also loved reading romantic novels and enjoying the outdoors. Lisa loved reading her scriptures daily, decorating her home, and was always willing to take care of others.
Lisa is survived by her children, Antonio Benjamin-Ross (Casia) and Kaitlyn Benjamin-Hill. In addition, her parents, Deborah and Michael Dunlap, her siblings, Michelle Hibbs (Dean), Jaqueline Jordon, Evangeline Dunlap and Allen Dunlap, her beloved “cousin/sister” Ophelia, her companion Terrence Seals (“granddaughter Arial”) and a host of relatives and friends to cherish her memories.
Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside service on Monday,
October 2, 2023, from 11:00AM-11:30 AM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery located 830 Highland Rd, Newtown, PA 18940
