ROBERT VINCENT BENDIG, 67
passed away after a brief illness on Sunday November 22, 2020.
He was a life long resident of Philadelphia and a 1971 graduate of North Catholic High School.
Bob will be lovingly remembered as a hardworking and dedicated man. In 2016 he retired from ASTM International, after 45 years of service as the Director of General Services. Anyone who knew Bob would agree, his greatest joy came from spending time with his wife and daughters.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Deborah (nee Ferrell) and his loving daughters Jessica and Jennifer. He will also be sadly missed by his niece Christine Schoell Mannix, nephews Rob Schoell and Mike Schoell and several great nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Vincent and Margaret (nee Logan) Bendig and his sister, Catherine Schoell.
A memorial service will take place in the near future, once friends and family can safely gather to celebrate Bob's life. Updates will be posted once available.
